Located on Coney Island and Ave J, Rimonim is a gem.
I have been there 4 times, and every time I walk out so satisfied, and so happy, I promise to go back again very soon. The decor is so tastefull, and relaxing. I specially love the beaded curtains.
The service is the best EVER. Hands down. THey are so attentive to your needs, and ready to please you. THe bread is delicious and served with 2 dips.
The prime yoshida is a winner. I got it 3 out of 4 times! One time it was really fatty, so they got me a new one right away. The side dishes are delicious, like onion flowers and herbed potatoes, and the presentation is stunning.
I will have to write about Rimonim again once I remember what else I got there, but go check it out, it is worth every penny.

solo nyc
solo was eh. The service was good enough, had to wait for ages to get our order taken, but our waiter was very nice, and took us thru the menu. I hate restaurants where they give u a piece of bread, and leave with the basket. Excuse me, I like more bread than that! I can eat the whole basket! I usually dont eat the whole day when I know I'm going out to eat!!
The chummous they give u ( they actually leave that on the table! yippee!!) it was really the best tasting chummous I ever tasted. Rich, creamy, and delicious flavor!
We did not order an appetizer. nothing sounded tempting. And I do not want to spend almost 20 bucks on soup, thank you very much.
We went straight to main dishes. I got the reserve cut steak. And let me tell you, it was a mighty reserved looking piece of steak at that! The thing was tiny. Oh, and make sure you order a side dish for an additional 8 bucks, cuz the side dishes they list with the steaks are merely garnishes. THEY FAILED TO MENTION THAT. And by the time we finally realized that, it was too late to order side dishes, we just wanted to eat.
The same went for my hubbys steak. His was slightly larger than mine, it was really delicious. It was called the Argentenian steak. They brought us delicious steak sauces, and I reccomend the red wine sauce.
Dessert was the chocolate souffle of course, with pecan ice cream. A perfect way to end our snack, I mean, meal.
Overall, SOLO serves great food, but it comes with a price. A hefty one at that.

Welcome!
Welcome to my blog!
I hope to bring you some of my opinions and insight in the world of kosher food.
Besides being an enthusiastic cook and gourmet foodie, I love going out to eat and anything to do with food!
I will be critiquing restaurants and cafes, so check back here for reviews..
Bon appetite!
